ok, the question, my car is a 98 eclipse RS 5 spd, how do we stand up against a 98 v6 avenger automatic? now howabout a manual?.. my sexy neighbor owns a 98 v6 automatic, i'm sure i could take her with her automatic, all though when i rode in it, it doesn't do too bad.. still just curious on what it would look like... and what would happen if a v6 manual pulled along side :-) .. thanks guys

A stock 5 speed will beat a stock v6 auto tranny avenger by just a little bit.

V6 avengers never came stock with a 5 speed. They can be swapped in without much effort (I found out our 5 speed will swap onto the V6 engine. It would be the same as doing an auto to manual swap on our cars, the tranny bolts right up.) Obviously, stock versus stock, the V6 would pull ahead if so equipped.

ya, you'll pull on her... just shave a lil weight if you got a box or sum tools in da ride....

Yes, before you run, just to put the race even more in your favor, take the spare out, any tools you don't need, and make sure the tank is low on gas :)
