My friend owns a 1996 tsi-awd manual which is bone stock. I have raced him before with my 1995 RS AT and of course it was ugly. I am getting a HRC stage 2 turbo this summer and i wanted to know what my chances would be like considering he is a decent driver? would the stage 2 be enough to take him?

err, im pretty sure that the stage 2 HRC is 2.5 seconds faster than the tsi...but i dunno about the tsi awd. hes probably still gonna get your ass off the line cuz he has awd. then again it depends on how well you drive compared to him. just my guess.

It's hard to say, I ran neck and neck with an auto HRC Stage 2 with just the mods below and an open header, but his car wasn't tuned too well either. The only 4G63 that I've raced was a stock GSX, and I lost then, but I'd be able to take it just barely now. It's pretty hard to say, it'll be a good race, but I dunno if you'll take him or not. Good luck man.
