I found a new one that works good for me. Better than powerbraking even. Neutral drop without revving. Put the car in N at a stop, and b4 u go, release the brake, when u wanna go, drop it into D and floor it at the same time. It's a really good launch I think. I haven't tried it but a few times. The tires spun and I didn't get the CLUNK like you do from revving to about 5500 and dropping into D. It seems pretty effective and seems safe. I can rebuild the tranny cheap tho, so if I break it, I rebuild it for about $200-250. I work in an auto tranny shop and my dad and grandfather own it. I can do the level 10 rebuild for that price. :P I don't want a stall speed converter tho. You have to powerbrake to launch then. I am thinking of doing a shift kit soon tho to try and rev a little higher and firm up my shifts. Right now on the stock auto, at times, I can chirp into 3rd. Not everytime tho. It impressed the hell out of me that the car can build that much momentum to chirp 3rd with few mods. I'm rambling. Sorry.
