1914, me vs a mustang? Posted by eklipz264, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM
Hey, I was just wondering if I was running stock 12 psi on my GST..would I take out a 2000 V6 Mustang? What if I up'd the boost to 14 psi? Also, what's an A/F gauge do..measures Air Fuel ratio right? but like what's the purpose in having one..thanks later

you'll have no problem against a V6 mustang with a gs-t

Well...THE best time I've seen is a 14.9 in MM&FF and that is not an average time. They run mid-high 15's(5spd) and slower with auto and your car stock would definitely beat it. Why have you not turned the boost up! Should be a 15-16..turn it up! Go kick some V6 a**!!

Hey..would it hurt my car if i turned the boost from stock 12 psi to 14 psi..the only mods i have are bov, intake, turbo timer.. i have a stock upper ic piping and stock gs-t catback exhaust system..just curious cause if it's safe and won't harm my car then i'll up the boost but i don't want to blow shit up or make things break..thanks later

I have had an old friend that is running a 98 v6. He has full piped exhaust, intake, chip, 38mm tb, performance fuel pump, pullies. I was running intake and exhaust. I took him by about 3 car lengths. We raced about 10 times. LOL gotta love kicken the shit out of a cocky asshole! He knows how to race pretty well to, so it wasn't him. I beet em all day long! I have no turbo, and only intake/exhaust/tb/cat and i can take out the new v6's all the doo day long. Boost harder and take out the big boys, leave the slow pokes alone.

My friend has a 97 GSX with a blow-off valve, boost controller, and greddy exhaust, and he is running 17 psi and has been for 2 years, not probs.

Honestly, the T-25 would have a hard time hurting a 4G63. Just the facts. Go to 16PSI (higher boost on the T-25 doesn't really yield a benefit. But go ahead and beat up some Moosestang -=B-=
