The launch and possibly shifting seem to be hurting your times. I have a gotten a best of 2.2760ft with my Probe so I'm sure your car can do just as good if not better since you run at the same track I do. For comparison here are some of my runs with my Probe:

Practice..thats all there is to it. Do you powershift or at least speed shift? Thats makes alot of difference..

whats a jet chip?

It is from Jets Performance it is a chip you get instaled in your ecu. I didn't notice much difference but then I put all the modes in at once.

hmmm, I dunno... I ran a 10.2 1/8th when I was stock and no I run 10.0's with a short ram and no back seat or spare or jack. I dunno man... how are you shifting?

The track is at 150 ft above sea level so thats good. Temperature is also pretty decent. I ran there Fri night and got some awesome times wiht my friends 93GT. Gotta be the shifting....

what do you recommend for shifting? I am working on my launch and I shift at just about 7000rpm, and shift as fast as I can. I cross the finish almost maxing 3rd gear.

do you lift your right foot when you shift?

Wouldn't I have to? I would revout the engine or blow it if I didn't lift off the gas when shifting. wouldn't I??

first... you have a rev limiter... you won't blow your motor. Secondly... get fast with shifting. I can clutch at 7100 RPM with my
right foot on the floor and be in gear and have the clutch out and be in second or third before I hit my rev limiter at ~7400 rpm. This is without a short through. Just practice man. By the way, I'm pretty sure this isn't terribly great for your transmission.

When you don't let off the throttle between shifts it's called powershifting. I shift like this with both my cars at the track. It is harder on the cars drivetrain but does drop some time. Even if you just let off only a little bit in between shifts in is better than fully letting off. My Mustang doesn't rev up much at all when I powershift..I time it right and shift slam through the gears HARD. I've only missed 1 shift at of over 60+ runs this year. Thats pretty good. Just have to practice...
