Is it common to get third gear scratches? i seam to get them all the time and my tires arent bald, they still have probably 75% of the tread left.

yea i think the key to a nice clean shirp is to nvr let go of the gas when shifting. i have gotten really good at this. b4 i was jes learnin but now im pretty good. im pretty sure i could chirp my car now if it was NA but b4 i couldnt. although i did once or twice i remember holdong the gas down and i did a crzy chirp. haha i was flippin out. i cant believe how bad i used to suck at shifting. o well you live you learn

If I punch it at about 3500 rpm in 1st, the tires will start to hop and break loose at the top of 1st, then wheelhop at the beginning of 2nd. Even with the stock clutch, I could bark 3rd gear at will. Now with the aftermarket one, if I'm going around a corner and shift out of the top of 3rd into 4th, it'll chirp. But only around a corner :D
I have new 205/55's on some stock 95-96 GS wheels.

Yes... but your car is a wonderful freak of engineering I think. The parts just seem to match better in yours than most.

i just have 205/55/16 for tires and they are relatively new, it just seems that whenever i get on it, the tires spin pretty good into second and then they chirp in third, I just didnt know if this was normal or not
