15.96, at 87mph...2.2 60ft...
it was my last run of the night.. after i got smoked by this SI, i was fillin my tires back up, and he asked if i wanted to go again... so we did. he still beat me, but not by much :-)
thank god is all i gotta say... i knew she had it in her, i just couldnt get my launches down..
my other runs were 16.7 and 17.3 w/ really bad 60 foot times...
so ya, thanks to all of u and your knowledge, she has made me proud again!!

Cool man..nice time! With a 87mph trap speed you have more left for sure. What are your 60ft and 1/8 mile times?

Nice!! Those are good 60fts. My best with my Probe is 2.27 . My best time I had a 10.319 1/8th and a crappy 2.338 60ft. I was just dumping it at 4000..and lettin it rip. I just didn't want any bog. I think I can get down to a 15.9 way it is now. I bet you could get yours down to a 15.7 at least with more traction. What do you run for rims/tires at track?

1203, RE: gimme a hell ya Posted by vegasdsmr, May-11-02 11:21 AM
well, i do have 14s w/shitty rubber chillen. last time i went to the trak, i slapped em up front, and couldnt get em to catch at all in first... my 60s that night were 2.5-3.3 last night, i kept my OZs on,(i think they are 16x7.5 or 7) and featherd the clutch out at 3300ish, got no bog, and was prolly one of the best launches i have ever had...
the 3.3 60 foot time resulted in an 18.1, lol... the thing thats funne is that i beat this 4 door ford by a good 5 carlengths on that run..

Hell Yeah!!!! Great job getting your car in the 15s. It's a lot tougher than you first think.
Great 60' time as well. My best is a 2.27 and that was with drag radials. But I think my clutch is on it's way out right now anyway.
Now it becomes a race for the first in the 14s all motor. Anyone wanna make a wager? hehehehehehe
