i ran a 11.0xx@134mph a few weeks ago. i believe the psi on that run was 24psi(with a race gas mix). im not sure on the exact psi cause it was like 4 weeks ago and i made a few runs on higher psi too but my times were slower(wheel spin). this was all on drag radials too. my 60' times arent what they should be, or i coulda gotten a high 10 i hope. what do most of the v8 guys do for a power adder? i know around here almost all of em use nitrous with an all-motor setup. on a side note, i was watching a car show(dont remember which) on TNN and they had a Camaro SS drag car that ran low 10's with a SC. when that thing launched it was EVERYWHERE of the line, popping a huge wheelie. bet that must feel pretty cool... :-)
