I absolutely LOVE the LS1 Camaros. if i were to own a domestic, that would definitely be the one. even over a Vette. i raced a blown 2000 SS in the Supra. it was from a roll on the interstate, so he was at the disadvantage. it was a fun race, cause DAMN that blower was loud. i pulled on him fairly good, maybe 3-4 cars in 3rd gear, then we both shut it down..short and sweet cause neither of us wanted a triple digit speeding ticket. i was very impressed with his car. Later that night, we both went out "hunting" for a guy who supposedly has a Rousch stage whatever supercharged Mustang GT, who had been talking about how he could smoke the guys SS. luckily for him, we never ran into him... :-) ive been so tempted to find a used LS1 Camaro to make into just a fire breathing track car, but they are suprisingly hard to find around here in good shape.
