If you notice in the original thread, there are no dates unless you scroll all the way down. Then you will see where David made a deal with the Motel 6 for special rates. I won't be staying at the Motel 6. I will be at the All American Inn and Suites with the rest of 2GNT, but you can see where I got my dates from.

I wouldn't consider these hard dates until after the first of the year, but that's just me.

I plan on being there, maybe just myself this year. Those motel 6 prices are super tempting, especially with how every year AAI has to increase there pricing significantly.

This year it was $20 more than last year and I booked 4 nights. I didn't think it was bad. I also called and booked my room.

You get a bigger discount the more days you book. It was $300 for 3 days for me. When I called up 2 months later to check on additional rooms it was up to $400 for 3 days.

I paid $452 for 3 nights last year and I booked in April. I think you got a steal.

I agree, I got a good deal, bu still Considering they want ~$150 for 3 nights at Motel 6, I mean hell we spend more time in the parking lot than the damn hotel.

Question, sorry if this is the wrong venue .. But i have an avenger, 2.4 edz swapped.. and most (EVO/4G guys) dont consider an Avenger a DSM, even though its got a dsm stamp, thats neither here or there. I would like to know if i am still eligible to participate in things like the shootout, drag, and dyno day... Please let me know. thanks!

referring to:
-All day dyno competition. $50 for three pulls. No tuning. Mitsubishi powered vehicles only. AWD only.

Any Mitsubishi powered vehicle can run at the shootout as long as it has either the original engine in the car (Genesis Coupe, 420A, 1.8 liter Mitsu, 4B11T, Stealth-3000GT, 3 liter Mitsu V6 etc.) or is powered by any one of these Mitsu engines. Cars NOT powered by a 4G63 or 4B11T MUST run in either Bracket 1 or Bracket 2. I figured technically, the 420a is Chrysler, so maybe the EDZ fits?

also i dont have wipers.. can this be excused for the street class?

This will be my first one, so im super pumped.

Can't run on the dyno and can't run in any other class than bracket 1 or bracket 2 (unless you want to make a case for Quick 16, lol).

for qualifying for the Q16 last year, guys running 9s were getting close to being kicked out. but b1 or b2 shouldn't be a problem

Can't believe how close we are, it really snuck up on us this year! Just 1 more month! Mark, you better have your car and nitrous ready, I'm excited to see it running and all the guys. With all the car payments and new kid, I can't afford the AAI, so I will be staying at the campground this year, thankfully though I have a DD and will see ya all there! (right MB? =P)

If I managed to get my car out there would anyone be willing to help me with an MS2 street tune? I've been running a self made MS1 tune for about 9k miles and want to upgrade to MS2 for more VE table resolution. I also haven't hooked up Spark control yet and with 10.5:1 comp w/ an S20g could really benefit from some timing control... I've just been running it pig rich to prevent detonation. I will be willing to pay $$, standard tuning price, I'm not trying to beg for free tuning. I have Tunerstudio Pro and everything to do it, I just dont have the MS experience to really dial it in.

Also, I'm not looking to take up a lot of time since I know we all wait a long time for the shootout.

Thanks
