i have 2 12s fosgate, and than the reciever to sub cable got jacked up, so i bought a new one, and also the fuse was burned out on the battery connection, changed it all and they still dont hit at all...help

sorry this isnt on your subject, but 2 questions for you ...

1- where and gods name did you get that RS-T sticker on your trunk lid!?

2- do you know how much your tenzo springs dropped you and how is the ride on them?

um, anywho, if your fuses arent blown on either the reciever or the amp, your wiring must be fucked up somewhere.

the RS-T sticker is actually two OEM stickers customized... i bought the RS badge and the GS-T badge, made very careful cuts and matched them perfectly so that it looks authentic.

the tenzo R springs dropped me about 2 inches..and the ride is great. i had some coilovers before these and oh man was the ride horrible.

more information on your system would help. you said your "reciever to sub connection" was bad..are you reffereing to the RCA connection from the headunit to the amp, or speaker wire connection to the sub? what amp are you using? it sounds like you have some wiring issues, and its possible youve destroyed one (or more) of your presamp (RCA) outputs on the headunit.

ok, sorry i was so vague on this, but i'm very ignorant when it comes to those wires and cable on the systems..but ill give a try, the cable that seemed to be bad at first was the one that has two connectors...a red and black that go to the amp, from the reciever, before i bought the new one, i found myself jiggling the old one to make it work, but not where it connected but just around the mid area of the cable, so i bought a new one, nothing happened. i checked the fuse on the cable that goes to the battery...it was burned out..so i replaced it, still nothing happened....i checked all other existing wires and nothing. its also grounded pretty good.

by the way, i have Rockford Fosgate amp and subs, the amp is only 500watts, while the two 12's are 800watts each

amp could be gone. do the speakers move alot, but just don't put out any sound?? if so, switch the speaker wires on just one of your subs.

agreed w/ ^^^^. make sure the RCAs (the red and black plugs) are connected to the correct inputs on the amp. if that doesnt work, try pulling the headunit and connecting the cable to a different output on the headunit (if theres another one). make sure all volumes/gains are set correctly. thats about all the help i can give you. x(

Just to clarify, it sounds like your not hooked up right.

Your amp should have three connections for power. a 12V+ that runs directly to the battery (should be fused). a 12V- which is the ground (make usre its a good ground, bare metal and secure. then a third which is yoru remote. This should go to your power antena(SP) lead on your receiver.

Then you have your inputs. If your receiver has more then one set of RCA outputs, make sure your using the ones marked SUB. Also make sure these are turned on on your receiver. My pioneer, by default, has them turned off.

Now we get to you subs. Make sure you have your positive and negative hooked correctly to your amp. If these are Dual Voice Coil (DVC) Subs, make sure they are bridged correctly or they wont work either. I believe it should be + to + and - to -.

Also if there's a fuse on your amp make sure that's not fried!
