9585, error message when playing cd

When I put a cd in (the stock infinity system) the display just says "E 01". Any idea what the hell happened here? oh, and I've tried a couple different cds.

I'd bet money on the laser being out of alignement. It would probably be cheaper to put something aftermarket in there.
