9475, Kenwood Headunit.. Look Pimp In An Eclipse

I was looking at this headunit

and it looks really awesome.. It would fill up the whole area to put a headunit in. Would sorta give off that Mercedes.. Lexus vibe.. If only it had a navigation system now. I would love to do something like this if I had the money or just put a 6.5" screen there and move the HVAC controls away, and have the headunit mounted rite where they use to be.. If only there was another spot to mount the HVAC controls.

It's nice but too bad its resolution is so low. I'm getting a VGA monitor myself. I just need to get it into an in-dash mounting platform.

I want a screen that can not only do some of the glitzy DVD stuff, but more important to me, be able to display a computer screen display, (i.e. dataloggers, fuel controllers, wideband software..etc.)

do it custom. Cost less then a in-dash DVD certainly. Screen around 7", a decent sized power inverter, and a computer. Might run you like $1,000 for a pro system when a in-dash DVD is upwards of $1,700.
