9447, Hook up neons to alarm Posted by ashah000, Jul-10-04 07:22 AM
My friend tried to do this and he fucked his alarm up. He took the power line from the neons and tapped it into the output for the parking lights that came out of the alarm. After that his alarm never worked!
Well I want to see if I can do this without screwing up my alarm. Would I need to use a relay??
Thanks.

im not sure how good this would be for neons anyways. find out how much power is sent to the lights, and then how much power the neons use.

You can also get a latching relay from a DEI dealer, and use a button on your remote to turn the neons on and off ;-)
