whats up every body im trying to install a pair of 6x9 in my gst but they dont fit for some reason the magnet hits the back wheel well the depth of them are 2-7/8 if I cant get this in then whats the deepest I could put in Thanks for your replys in advance Shy boy
P.S it is a 96 gst

Usually its a pretty tight fit. Strip away some of the sound deadning material that right there. Usually that will give you just enough room.

You can also beat the fender back a bit. Use a heavy hammer. If you don't like that option you can space out your mounting points a bit, but don't go too far or you'll end u pin the panels.

whats up guys thanks for posting I havent had time to check my system cause I went to the track the other day and all my lights went out my cluster my headlights my tail lights now the coner lights stay on took every fuse off an they didnt turn off at all so had to take it to the shop they told me maybe has something to do with my alarm I'll keep you guys posted thanks again Shyboy
