8828, Factory speaker size's???

I have a '99 OZ. I don't think that it has the infinity sound system though b/c there is no amp under the pass. set. Anyways, what size speakers are in the door panels, and in the rear seat panels? I checked on Crutchfield, and it said 6 3/4 in the door and back. I didn't think that was right. tia!

hes right, except the front are 6 3/4" as well.

uhm, i have a 99 gs and it didnt have speakers that big anywhere... all four were like 5 1/4" or something like that, not over 6". i suppose i could be wrong because i ripped all the original mounting hardware out and replaced it with custom stuff, but still i'm almost positive they weren't 6 3/4.

I have a 97 gs and had 6.5's in the door and 6.75 in the back.... stupid ass best buy and circuit city didn't carry 6.75's so I had to "MODIFY" to 6x9, sound blows. There should have been some consistancy with speaker sizes amoung all 2nd gen but no, we got 50 different speaker types. Oh well.
edit BTW I know it was 6.5 because I had bought 5.25's for the front and 6.5 for the back at first.... the 5.25 were too small, so I tried the 6.5 and bam exact fit.

Uhm, Circuit City and Best Buy both carry 6.75 speakers unless you're trying to buy crappy cheap coaxial stuff. I have Polk MOMO components and Alpine TYPE R coaxial's and both are 6.75 and both bought at Circuit City :shrug
