I was gonna get a JL 1000/1 amp, but damn are they expensive. Anyone konw where i could get that amp or a comparable one (xtant, orion, etc) for a decent price?

I'm only running a Jl 500/1 to my 12w7 and its fine :)

where did u get it and how much did u pay for it... do u think a 1000/1 would be too much.. i thought it was what jl recommended for a 12w7. I'm currently using a power accoustik 1800W amp that puts out around 700W rms when bridged (but it keeps shutting off when i turn up the volume).

shit I will have to go through and look it up but I wish i had the 1000..the 500 does me fine right now though. Still hits plenty hard and sounds great. good choice on your sub man.

I currently have a 13W7 with a 1000/1, but it is WAY too much bass for me. My roommates who listen to rap LOVE it, they said they had never heard such clean bass that loud. If anyone wants to work out a trade or something make me an offer.

this happened to me this weekend. i had a really crappy ground connection. i fixed it and my 12" Eclipse has never hit harder. check your ground.

how much would you sell that setup for ozzmosis?
