85, Flip out tv question

Ok, first off my car's an automatic. I was wondering if an in-dash, flip out tv would be able to come out completely without hitting the shifter while it's in park, or if the shifter would have to be moved into reverse or neutral. Thanks

you SHOULD be alright with it. Make sure it's put into the top section of the opening though...cause in the bottom i see no chance of it opening. Check with best buy or something..see what they have to say.
