Hey guys I'm about to order and alarm...I would also like to intergrate a remote starter. The lowdown, I'm a 97 gs manual.

Tel me what you guys have and if you like it. Also you alarm guys can you email me any info I will need to install this into my manual car...

As far as hooking up remote start to a manual, don't. Or read this post if you have faith in your electrical skills:

Basically you can either use a mercury tilt switch + your ebrake, or even safer, use a magnetic window security switch + your ebrake, as no go sensors.

I recommend a Viper 791.

I used both an e brake merc switch, and also a merc switch on my shifter lever. There is already a hole on the shifter, and a DEI merc switch has a metal mounting tab on it. I just bolted the switch to the shifter, and wired it up. So now, if the shifter is forward in any gear, it wont start, along with the ebrake needing to be up. If the shifter is in N, then its ready for takeoff :) I've posted pics of this setup before..in a post here somewhere..do a search

i have a crimeguard...the 745 series from crutchfield. integrated relays for keyless entry, output for remote start and keyless trunk, lots of add ons, good price.

Yeah i'll repost the pics tonight when i get home..they are on imagestation, but that doesnt work anymore.. i'll put them on my website..

That would be awsome I'm hoping on getting one this week sometime...just dont know what to get,
