Well first off, I was cruising along listening to some music at a decent volume when all of a sudden it just shut off. Its been snowing and cold here so I havent had the time to fix it. Well after driving around for about a week with no radio I decided i would try to fix it. So I pop the hood and replace the fuse that was blown, get in, start the car, and as soon as i started it, i guess the fuse blew.......needless to say, it keeps blowing fuses and the radio wont turn on. It says on the fuse cover that it is a 10a fuse, so i tried a 20a fuse and it blew too. What are my possible problems? Or am I just going to have to go to a dealership to get it checked? TIA

could be shorting out somewhere...is it an aftermarket stereo?

well, it HAS to be shorting out somewhere, no other option. start checking your connections :thumbsup

So its not a wireing problem (bad wires) but rather a connection somewhere has come undone/touching metal.........yes its an aftermarket stereo.......am i going to want to look behind the cd player for these wires?

Dude i'm having the same problem! I think mine has to do with my power antenna but I'm not sure yet. My interior lights, door buzzer, radio...it's ALL gone.

It fuggin blows........i hate not having a radio.......i want to fix this but its too damn cold out now. Its just buggin the hell out of me....although mine isnt as bad as yours......my radio is the only thing that isnt working.....i put new fuses in and they just blow when i turn on the car.........stupid electricity..
