ok, i have amps hooked up and rewired the subs, well I did it quick for now.. until spring when i flush mount the subs.. sounds just fine, well the other day i'm driving and the bass starts carrying on... even when i turn the thing down.... driving me nuts, i'm guessing its the connections? is this correct... let me know if ya know, thanks.

wow, no information at all in that post.
Did you:
A) Run your rca's along side your power? that=engine noise B) Ground it incoorectly? that=engine noise C) Crank the gain up to a stupid level on your amp? D) Get your speaker wire leads touching somehow?

the same thing happened to me, the rca's you get with cheap wiring kits are GARBAGE. invest in a good set of rca's. my favorite is monster cable.
