Do we have 4 inches of depth clearance in our doors? I would go measure but there's too much snow and ice and its damn cold. If you've measured in the past and remember the depth - help me out!

What are you trying to put in there? I have 6.75" Polk MOMO componenets in my doors and they are about the biggest component speaker I've ever seen.

Trying to fit an IDQ8 midbass in there. They are about 3.75in deep - deeper than most 6.5 component sets. Thanks for any input!

At one point I had a pair of Audiobahn 6.5" mid-bass drivers in my doors. They had a considerably large magnet as well, definitly not your average component woofer by any means. They fit fine, I have power windows and the window didn't hit the magnet at all. I had them mounted on a 3/4" MDF frame though.
