i guess but its pretty easy anyway. cut the cig line, wire the power and ground to the cig haness under the center console, white harness is the power i think. if the wiring is wrong, don't worry, its just trial and error.

The blue wire is the power wire behind the cigarette lighter.

For people with a Passport, it can be hardwired just like anything else. You need about 6" of RJ-11 (POTS wire). Hook the cig. lighter adaptor in and find out which wires are +12 and ground, because I can't remember.
I soldered these two wires to my dome light power. If you do it right, all you see is a little pigtail coming out of the headliner. I plugged this into the unit and have it mounted between the rear view mirror and the headliner. It's a bit of a squeeze, but it sure looks cool up there.
Yes, this strongly reduces the unit's ability to detect laser from the rear, but if you're detecting laser at all in the first place chances are it's too late.
