After I installed my headunit...the radio stations that I used to get clear now are really loaded with static now...wtf?

no one has any ideas? weird...

Are you getting the stations in at all? I know I didn't hook my antenna back up when I put mine in because I didn't have the adaptor and I don't like the radio. Good luck man.
P.S- I don't want to make you sound like an idoit, sometimes we look over real simple stuff.

Yeah my antenna is hooked up fine...some stations come in perfect...but the ones that used to..and EVERYONE else gets perfect I don't.

Oh, then I have no idea man. Sorry. I would take it to Best Buy or something like that and ask them. Try and talk to a manager of the car audio department because you want to make sure you talk to someone who knows what they are talking about. Good luck.

some decks have internal amps to get the signal more clear it all depends on your fm range sensitivity
