7370, Just ordered a JVC headunit

Just ordered the JVC KD-SH9750 headunit. http://www.jvc.com/product.jsp?modelId=MODL027017

Anyone have this one or a similiar JVC headunit. My previous headunit was a JVC KD-SH99 which I liked a lot. JVC seems to always do well on headunits. My old one worked like a charm and I just loved the brushed aluminum look and blue display.

JVC also doesnt seem to overdue the faceplate. They have some small buttons and the volume contorl. Rather simple. I have noticed other brands, ALPINE for the most part, seem to have A LOT going on with thuer faceplate. Like 30 button, 5 knobs, etc etc. Maybe this is because ALPINE is more for the serious audioheads who really like to tune their music and know all about the db and hertz n shit. Which i really dont.

Anyway, enough rambling. Im just really stoked about getting this and cant wait to install it. My last one was stolen. :( So this time, i will be sure to remove the faceplate.

wow...that looks really good! im VERY impressed w/ JVCs layout on the HU. like you stated, its simple and clean. in the past, i HAVE seen a bit of trouble w/ JVC headunits having buttons that "cave in", but it seems as if they've fixed that problem.
in responce to this qoute:

SERIOUS "audioheads" realise that if you need all that shit to tweek your system you need to re-evaluate you speaker selection/placment and crossover/phase/gain variables. id much rather have a nakamichi than an alpine. :thumbsup
