7341, Viper 300 alarm installed with no remote Posted by Steve99GSNoVa, Oct-13-03 08:01 AM
Hey guys, would like to start off by saying I know absolutely nothing about alarms/stereos. I bought my car last year and it has a Viper 300 alarm installed. Unfortunately, the dealer didn't have the remote to operate the alarm. Honestly, I dont care either way... I have the alarm module out of the car right now because every time I disconnect the battery the freakin alarm goes off (when I reconnect the battery). My question is, how would I go about getting a new remote so I can actually use this thing? Thanks a bunch!

e-bay or dei should have em. Just make sure you get instructions on how to program the remote to work with that specific brain.

You can also stop by any DEI dealer in your town. They can program it for you. At my shop, we charge 35 for a transmitter, programmed. If you pick one up, and need programming info, hit me up.
