my friend might be majorly hooking me up with one of those pager alarms. the only thing that would stop me from buying it is installation costs. if i already have an aftermarket alarm, how hard is it to swap out alarms? is this something i could try myself? keep in mind the new alarm has additional features the old one doesnt.

Need more info bro. Are you switching a Viper for a Viper? Then yes it's easy, just plug in the new brain and accessories. If you're switching a Viper for a Code or something like that...you're fucked....pay the fee and get someone to install it that knows what's up.

What if I was going from a DEI product to another DEI product. As is, going from a Viper to a Hornet 554T.

I need to know how much work would be to switch these out.

Thanks,
