ummm not sure if this is true but i think that there is a small pinhole somewhere that u can stick a pin into and it should release the cd...this is like some memory or somethin buried somewhere way back that just came to me...but give it a shot and look and see if there is a small hole.

When I first got my eclipse and had my panasonic head unit....I put a cd in(or so I thought) and the head unit wouldn't spit it back out. It turned out that somehow I had slipped the cd in the little opening in between the head unit and the rest of that console area. When I switched to my pioneer head unit I found a cd sitting back where all the wires were....I couldn't believe it. And yes, I suck at telling stories:P

UPDATE:
ok so no dice on the pin hole, but as i'm looking around I figure to heck with it, i'll fix the boost leak in my blow off valve (switched tasks because I was frustrated)...reconnected my battery and like 10 minutes later i'm driving on the highway and the cd came out...I have no idea why this occured or why it got eaten in the first place...all I know is that i need to get a new head unit, stat, before this one decides to start sending me messages from the netherworlds or something....

Yeah my Kenwood ate my favorite cd (Slayer!), but would still play it. It is a flip and fold model and wouldn't flip at all, even when I shut the car off. I just took it back to Circut City and they sent it out. I had to wait 2 weeks for them to get it back and when I looked at the inspection sheet, it said that nothing was wrong and it worked just fine:wary, though I know something was wrong cause it didn't flip. I still don't understand that, but I haven't had problems since so I guess its all good.
