Is the plastic cord under the dash the easiest way to run the power for an amp?

just get a good 14feet of cable and find the rubber gromet under the passenger side dash... run the cable through this along the side of the car under the plasitic molding all the way back behind the rear quarter panel and then to the rear trunk..

I did my ground through that side....

if you want to go on the driver's side, take out the battery, pull out the window washer resivoir, and you'll have all kinds of room. do the rear NRG motormount while you're at it:D

Acutally if you're auto, it is REALLY easy to run the power wire through the driver's side. You just drill a hole in the firewall a little lower than the battery. Us autos don't have all that extra stuff in the way...

I'm M/T and I have a bunch of shit going thru the drivers side firewall. The wires come thru just above the clutch petal to the left a little bit. I have (2) 8 gauge power wires, the MSD Staging rev limit wire, the MSD Kill Switch wire, and the 3 wires for the A/F gauge all going thru 2 holes in the firewall that I drilled.

same here, i have wires running on both sides of the car now. its a huge mess. i would have put a block in the back, but i kept adding in stages, so now it looks like hell if you lift up the panels. one day i will get everything sorted out and looking nice.
