Just about a month ago, i finished my lil system, nothing fancy, but i perfer my sounds to do the talking, not how they look...but anyways, im thinking of dynomatting my trunk, i got 2 12in kenwood subs powered by a 1000watt kenwood amp, and pioneer speakers front and back...w/ a 2003 Panasonic cd/mp3/wma player...I know I wanna put some dynomatts, but I dont know which to get, or even how much should I spend...Anyone have exp. with this? I need some advice and where do put them..alrite let me know guys!

i bought dynamat extreme off ebay for like 100 bucks for 36 square feet. lined my trunk with it. was VERY happy with the results, then did my cabin and headliner with it.

The addition of Noise suppression products, such as Dynomat or Tsunami's Silencer is one of the best upgrades you can do to your audio system.

In total, I have 80 square feet of silencer in my vehicle. The products eliminate road noise and raise the noise floor. This means that more of the music will be heard, versus the sound of the rattling body panels. In addition, the height of the sound stage will be raised by eliminating road noise.

When you use the products on your car, be sure to do the inner panels and the exterior panels. By this, I mean reach through the holes in the panels and place the product on the outer body skin. This will reduce noise and make the investment worth the money.

I would recommend using the Tsunami brand of Silencer, available at your local Circuit City. I've used Dynomat Original, Dynomay Extreme and the Tsunami Silencer. I personally like the Tusnami product the best, as it was the easiest to apply and has held up the best.

Good luck to ya and remember to do the headliner, as that is the panel that vibrates the most!
