ok im not sure where to post this question but i thought this was the area. after i got my car back from the shop after doing a full color swap it seemed my fuses were blew when i got home, basically i wasnt able to use turn signals and my brake light because thsoe were blew, didnt notice it til i got home which was a 50 min drive, lucky me i didnt get hit by a car. but basically i dont want to drive back up there with this problem. so i put in different fuses. they blew everytime i tried to use the turn and when i tapped the brake. so basically i think i got a short somewhere. i think what happened is when they took off my headlamps and taillights, they basically crossed the wires or something not sure.
-what should i do to fix this, has anyone had this problem?
-what should i exactly be looking for?
basically i need some help and im gonna try to work on it tomorrow to see if i can resolve this problem. if not i think i just might have to resort to driving it back.
but i need this fixed asap.

-Dennis- thx alot

man, I wish i had some good advise for you but it is more than likely a short somewhere. I have a similar problem but it is with my interior lights and i have tried to trace down the short for over a month now but to no avail. I wish you the best of luck.

Could be the wrong fuse maybe? You could try a bigger fuse, like go from a 15 to a 20, etc. Other than that I'm no help.

ahhhhh never go with a bigger fuse then what factory recommends could burn a wire and hahaha sucks to be you anyways sounds like a ground short check all your interior lights maybe maybe the ground on your deck (dont hook it up to the wiring harness) if not hmmmm gotta go look at my car and see whats up does the fuse pop when you turn on your parking lights?? if thats it try checking the deck or the interior lights

need more details sorry couldnt help that much

try checking the wires to the headlight and tail lights. maybe when they put them back in, they crushed a wire or something. I had the same problem after I put in my aftermarket tail lights. I crushed a the wires somehow and they got grounded to the body somehow :wary . you should check that first since you already know they took those parts off for the paint job.
