Hey, I just bought an alarm, and want to install it myself. Does anyone have an FAQ, or a step by step on how to do it? I have wiring diagrams...but how the heck do you do all this? Thanks!

all the wires are in the same area (under steering wheel and around the fusebox by the kickpanel), so its really not too difficult.
i would suggest removing the panels underneath the steering wheel, the kickpanle, and the side panel of the center console. find and tap all the wires first, then splice into them. wrap all the wires up with electrical tape (to keep it stock looking) and then run them towards wherever you plan on mounting the brain.then just plug everything in, check for functionality, and put all the panels back on. remember that an alarm is only as good as its install, so if your wires are hanging out all over the place a thief will be able to disable the alarm much more quickly. :nono

Well, that isn't the hard part...it's WHAT wires go to which is where I'm confused...it doesn't seem like there's a one to one ratio of wires for the alarm and wires avail from the car. I really want to do it myself and save 80 bucks...but I don't want to f*ck up. Anyone?
