i have an MTX amp that will run 300wattRMS bridged into a 4 ohm load. i have two DVC 4 ohm/coil subs. how do i wire this up to get the most power? i was a little confused.

You can either run the dvc subs in parallel to each channel and get same power as bridge or you can hook the coils of each sub into series and then parallel bridge the two subs to the amp. Both will get the same power but you will get better quality from the non bridged configuration.

agreed with ^^^^, although im going to say that i prefer to run my subs mono. the reason being is this: each channel (left and right) carries slightly different information. this can cause cancelation and "sloppyness", for lack of a better word. if we could discern stereo information at those frequencies, this wouldnt be a problem, but because of the way we percieve those sounds theres no point in having a stereo signal. plus....you can gain typically gain a few dbs at the same time. :thumbsup
