5725, wiring DVC subs

how would you wire 2 DVC woofers (4 ohm) to run off a kicker kx500.2 amp. right now he has the amp bridged, and i dont know how he wired them, but the amp keeps shutting off. what would be the best setup? thanks.

the easiest way would be to run each sub off of its own channel at 2ohms. just run the coils (per sub) in parralel (+ to + and - to -) and then to the amp.

you could also run the subs coils in series (- to + and vice versa) to effectivly "create" two 8ohm subs, and then run them in a parallel to creat a final mono 4ohm load to bridge the amps 2 channels to.

this is all assuming the that amp is only capible of 2ohm stereo/4ohm mono loads. im pretty sure thats the case.
