No... but it might intfere with a rear strut bar depending on which one you have

im the one who sold that box. it doesn affect the rear hatch cover at all. im not sure about the rear sway bar (dont have one) but its fits perfectly and the best part about it is that you can still utilize your entire trunk. Had to sell it because I just bought a JBL w12gti. It has a mounting depth of 10.25" and requires 3.5 cf (bandpass). Ill post pics as soon as I finish my box.
