5449, led cooling fan Posted by Sigma Chi 200, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM
I found these cooling fans for computers on ebay, they have built in led lights. Can I use these in an amp rack? These would probably look really cool. Anyone have any experience with something similar? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3403126204&category=3673

yup, those would work, they run off of 12vDC. the only word of cuation i have is this....some fans make more noise than others, so if you are really picky about background noise or if you compete or anything, you probably shouldnt get them. you will never hear them while driving or listening to music about 90dbs or so. theres definatly a high bling-bling quotent to them. ;)

Check out a place called Tiger Direct, I'm sure that they have a website. They have a big selection of LED fans in green, blue, red, or whatever. They also have silent ones and noisy ones. They have pretty much everything for computers. Try to get a free catalog or something, I get one every few months and it is awesome.
