probably been asked before, sorry. but is there any spot on a '96 rs on the firewall that i can get a 0 gauge wire through or do i have to drill a hole which i don't want to do..

Your easiest place will be to run it though the passenger side under dash area, and on the firewall there will be a grommet with a wire harness going though it to the engine. Use this spot for the easiest place. You can drill by the driver side firewall, esp if you are automatic tranny, you can drill right where the clutch pedal rod would go though. There are a few other driver side places you have to drill to get though, but it takes some time to be sure you will not hit anything when drilling, which is why i say use the passenger side grommet..

That big of a gauge wire is not gonna go through that grommet on the passenger side. Just drill a hole man, or go to circuit city and pay them 10 bucks to drill one for you. It's easy, especially if you have a unibit. I drill about 5 cars a weekend and I've never hit anything. Just don't be dumb about it :)

yea i guess i'll just drill it..whats good to use for putting around the cable when its in so it doesnt get cut or have air coming in from the engine bay?

grommet...same place that sold you the wire should have one.

if they don't just use silicone sealant

you could poke a hole thru your steering wheel column......

thats where my 4 guage is ran thru..
