i have two audiobahn 12" subs, each put out bout 700 watts and i was wondering what size amp i should get for them

do you know the model number offhand? some of the older audiobahns had mechanical problems accepting thier rated RMS power (especially in a massive vented box like i have).

as a general rule, just get the highest power GOOD QUALITY amp you can afford, and adjust the gains as needed. that will insure clean power without clipping and give you room to expand in the future. a small amp with improperly matched gains will not hurt the subs, but it might not sound good.

for good bass get bout a thousand watts or more
