heres my opinion from my personal experience...

a sub is only as good as its enclosure. put a good sub in a crappy box and it will sound terrible. spend a few hours designing and constructing a box for your radio shack sub and it will sound great. pre-fab boxes tend to be great assuming they fall within the proper specifications of the sub. go with whatever sub you want, but make sure you can put them in the correct enclosure, otherwise theres no point.


that being said, i prefer the kickers, although im not a big fan of them. i just dont like the alpines more.;)
