3624, Moving the headunit Posted by safedawg, Aug-15-02 01:34 PM
Hey, I was thinking of a different thing to do with guages, I want to put the three guages where the two dins are for the headunit and the empty one underneath it, and move the headunit where the cupholder and ashtray is. I would probably put it in there at an angle facing back towards me, you think this could be done?

I'm pretty sure it could be done. I just got finished moving my headunit into the glovebox. It took a while, but I finally got it in there and it wasn't as hard as I thought.

Be very careful if you do it. there's a lot of stuff going on under there and not a lot of space. Make sure you split loom all your wires so that you don't get them caught in your shift linkage
