I have a 98 eclipse gs and the stock cd player wont work it says code or something nothing from the stereo works does anyone know what to do?

Take out the radio and write down the serial number and take the number to satan. They'll give you a code to unlock your radio.

i think they charge for the code, make sure you write it down and don't lose it..

Ya they do i called the dealer about it and they told me they dont have any records on any codes for my car even though i bought the car from them the guy told me it would cost me 90 bucks just to take out the cd unit out and get the serial number to get the code the guy was talking like a dick dealers suck.

Take the radio out yourself and get the serial number. Call around to different mitsubishi dealerships and ask if they will get the code for you. If they say they have to charge for it then call another one. Don't pay them to tell you the code, it doesn't cost them a dime if you have the serial number.
