hey all,
i just got 0 gauge installed, and am wondering whats the best battery i can get for high watt system? what brands, how much stuff like that. any info would be great. thanks

ps. im gonna be getting more amps and shit soon, my system will be at least around 1200-1300 watts maybe more depending on what else i get. the battery(if they make them) i will want to be able to handle that plus everything else in the car(ac, lights, fogs, etc.) easily. any other things you think i should add just tell me, i want to do everything the best i can. thanks

Optima yellow top deep cycle battery. Expensive, but worth every penny IMO. You will never have to buy a new battery again. Cleaner hitting bass, less dimming lights, always cranks the car, can be mounted in any position, even in the car, very low internal resistance, and can be fully discharged and will recharge itself over a short while..can't beat that :) They generally retail for around 220-250. Shop around

I have the optoma yellow top with 950cca! I can run all my sterio, video, lights for 1 hour befor it dies! For a part nuber thought, there are a bunch of different moldes to pick from. I got mine off ebay for $90, but you can get a red top or a yellow top.

i got mine for $169 brand new.... and i love it...

would a blue top marine cycle battery from Optima be able to work in our cars???...it would complement my blue AEM intake...:-)

yes the blue top will work! i have it in my car, reason i got it it because my system, second because i got alot of wires to hook up to the battary and it has extra terminals for that, so i just hooked up mt amps etc to those.. check my site out i think i got the engine bay open so you can take a look at it.. i love mine...got mine around 150-180 forgot exact price...
