Ok I have a alpine SWR-1521 type r sub. Its 15" and has a 1000 watts. It calls for 1.3-2.5 feet. Now what size should I make it? Im thinkin 2 cubic feet. Wha t du you u thing

sounds good to me man, what size amp are you gonna have on it? The bigger the amp the airspace you can run.

thats a pretty big margin, they didn't include any sheets with tuning frequency or frequency curves for different sizes. Also, smaller boxes will handle more power for the same speaker, due to some physical property i forgot :) (kinda like automatic crossover, less frequency to play, so less harmful)
you might want to call them to find out, it also helps to know whay you listen to. if you're not into music that plays 25 hz notes there's no sense in building a box that will go that low, for example

I would reccomend 1.8 for it. I am not too sure why that much of a margin in the volume would be like that for. If you want it tuned right go with 1.8, but if you like more of a low end sound go with a bigger volume. If you want more of a tighter end sound, go with a lower volume, but no lower then the margin of specs.
