I have the little (3 inch???) speaker in the dash, yesterday i went looking for some aftermarket ones but i didn't find, either to small or to big, the closest i got is 3.5 inches, but i have to take out the dash to make them fit, has anyone upgraded this? or any info on them? i will like to put in some tweeters in there

Remove the stock speakers, run new wires, and install tweeters in there. That WILL be the best thing to do... period. I suggest buying a nice quality component speaker set that comes with 6.5" speakers for the doors, 3/4" or 1" tweeters for the dash, and a crossover network. Power them with a 75w/channel amp and it'll sound very nice. I installed MB Quarts up front and they sound very nice. The crossovers allow for 0, -3, and -6 dB tweeter connections too, so you get the sound that you like.

I installed a pair of Memphis 8" mibass drivers in the doors (behind the factory grills) and 1" tweeters in the dash locations. I removed the stock speakers and grills from the dash and made new tweeter pod holders out of Carbon Fiber covered plastic. They are powered by a Cadence A1 amp (65 X 2). Looks and sounds awesome.
