Wats up guys? Anyway I just got a free Rockford Fosgate 10" sub in box w/ a kenwood 600W bridgeable amp. (girlfriends sister hooked me up :)) I wanted to do the install myself, and I was wondering if any of you have a written FAQ of how to do the wiring. If there is none, can someone please write up a short one for me? I would really appreciate it. Thanks :)

Go to the forums at http://www.sounddomain.com and search, and they have tons of information. It's really pretty easy, and you could probably search the forums here too. It's basically just wiring the RCA's from your head unit (if it has sub preouts) to the amp. Power from battery to amp, and ground close to the amp (I used the seat belt bolt under the rear seats). But if you check out sounddomain, there are plenty of install pages from their members, and a lot of information. I love that site...

I did my install myself as well. The hardest part for me was running the power wire through the firewall. I took out my winshield washer fluid resivoir and drilled a hole behind it. Make sure you use a grommet to protect the wire, vibrations will cut the wire after a while. I ran all my RCA cables underneath that door sill trim thing on the drivers side and under the rear panels by the back seat. I used a bolt in the trunk as my ground. I mounted my amp to the back of the back seat with the screws that came with the amp. Good luck and take your time.

P.S. I found that zip ties work great for keeping the wires together while running them underneath the interrior panels.
