1801, infinity sound Posted by My_therapy, Mar-06-02 01:20 PM
O.K., I have the infinity 6-disk changer in my car factory, and I like the convienance of the changer, but I put new 6x9's in the rear and 6 1/2's in the front but the rears crackle alot. I am assuming that there is a problem with the amp under the seat, but I don't have the money to mess with it right now. However, I do have 2 amps, a sub, and a 3-way elec. x-over I would like to install. Does anyone know if there is pre-outs on these head units, or if it is O.K. to patch in before the amp for input? I have been told by more than 1 person that the infinity stereos are very finiky, and it's just better to replace everything. Any input guys?? Thanks

If your having a fuzzy sound coming threw your speakers you most likely have a loose conection some where, check your ground and anything else and make sure no wires are touching.
