how do you take off the stock mast antenna (non-power)? chiltons said take off the retaining bolt and then unscrew the antenna. the only problem with that is the damn retaining bolt will not come off. when i turn it everything else turns with it.

If you don't want it, just cut it off.

If you do want it, get one of those rubber "gripper" type thingys from a store that sells kitchen stuff (to open jars with) and put that on the outside and grip it with channel locks. That should do it. You could try some penetrating oil on the nut side as well.
