I can get 4 10" JL W3 subs, 500/1 JL Amp and 2 boxes that hold 4 10" subs each for $800. Is that a good deal? If so I want to do a custom box but do it so I can still have a spare tire.. any ideas? Thanks.

4 10's with a spare? It can be done, but it wont be the easiest. Also, you are going to add some decent amount of weight, if that means anything to you. You will have to build a small box that will fit up against you back seat, so you can still access you spare. Maybe a wall of 2 subs, and 2 under those. Maybe ditching you rear seat too might be an option..With some imagination, anyting is possible :)

I f your worried about space go with an isobaric setup, it raises the efficiency of the subs but cuts down on box size. In theory if 1 sub calls for 3 cubes of airspace, then by going Iso you can squeeze 2 into 1.5 cubes of space. You will lose 3dB of sound but if your pushing enough power it won't matter. Just make sure that your subs are wired out of phase from each other so you don't pop them. Any ?'s drop me a line and I'll send you some specs when I get home for the sizing on JL 10's....
One more thing, the W3's are 4 ohm subs...not sure if that single JL amp will drop low enough to pwer them without frying....your gonna need something that is 1/2 ohm stable to run all 4 at once......
