My front passenger side door speaker rattle's from vibration of the car when driving, does anyone know how to stop this? My car is a 98' Eclipse GS.

go to a car audio place and get this stuff called dynamat it helps out ALOT its one of the best brand out there what it does is it stops vibrations from your car from road noise ect... they have different kits if you want your car to sound like a lexus door closeing get the whole huge kit and it will sound nice and you wont hear anything from the outside

it's heavy stuff though, I almost got dynamat for my whole trunk but i never got around to it. Now that i drag race i am glad i don't have the extra weight back there.

I thought that was my problem. Does it only happen at low volume? It turned out I blew the factory speaker, so I got JL audio evolutions up front. They and the MB quarts are about the same. Great sounding speakers.

It doesn't rattle when playing music, rather it does it cause of my loud Tenzo-R muffler when I'm driving. I might just open up my door and see what's loose making that noise.

I had that problem too, just look where you can put change and stuff on the door or where you put yur hand to pull the dooor shut, there is a little black cover in there, it might be loose just push it back down.

Check your whole door. I had an bad rattle in mine that turned out to be the door skin seperated from the support in there. If you want to go with sound killing stuff you can try the spray on variant that Rockford and a few others make. You can layer it thin to cut down on weight, but to really kill noise it'll turn out about the same weight as the Dynamat. ONly other thing I can think of is to tighten up all the components of the window assembly, that might be the cause too...
