12572, The right sized amp...

I recently bought Polk speakers to upgrade on my RS. What I need to know is, what size of an amp do I need? I have for the front a component system: 6 1/2 with a 1" tweeter. Its 300W peak, 100W RMS. For the rears I got 6 1/2 coaxial: 180W peak, 60W RMS. I was thinking of getting a 400W amp. Is that a good sized amp?

don't ever go by peak power. look at the rms output. get an amp with roughly 50 watts rms per channel and you'll be very very happy.
